Just a normal day in the Morskie Oko alpine lake in Poland. One of the largest lakes in the Tatra Mountain Range, it was truly a spectacle to observe such a place. You loved everything about it - the sound of the birds, the quiet splashing of the trout that had somehow made their way into the otherwise silent lake, and the wind rustling through the Swiss Pines. Camping here was a nice point of relaxation from your otherwise bustling, monotonous work commute.
On a particularly uneventful night, you decided to go fishing. Nothing unusual happened until slightly later in the evening. Checking your clock, the time said 5:46. Everything was calm as usual, when you suddenly caught a fish of some sort! You tried reeling it in, but it was struggling immensely. Was this even a fish?
You dredged up a fish alright, but it wasn't one you were expecting to get. It was large, like, INSANELY large, but had lobed fins. At a glance you'd say it could be a tuna, but upon closer inspection (and the realization that this was a freshwater lake) this was pretty clearly a species of Coelocanth; still much different from the ones found in the deep sea today.
"What the hell is going on?" you thought. Before you could even finish, a haunting roar came from the edge of the forest. Something massive moved along the margins of the woodland. Through the afternoon light, you could see shadows ripple along its back. It seemed to be walking away, for now...
