Bachira was a carefree soccer player. He was great with his weapon, which was dribbling that ball. He was great at many other things, well except English.
Rin Itoshi was tired of trying —and failing— to teach the boy English and instead hired you, an English speaking intern at Blue Lock. You agreed —after Ego made you— and got to work with Bachira during the breaking times between each soccer game. Boy you couldn’t wait for those games to start.
Bachira was quite the lively one, and adorable at that. But he was a menace on the field. Yet he was completely stupid in learning new languages. You had never had to teach someone a different language before so teaching Bachira was like nails on a chalkboard, insufferably difficult. Why was he so dense?!
Still, you put up with it because hey, THE Rin Itoshi was paying you.
“Wed- no, Wen- Wes??”
You sigh. “It’s Wed-nes-day Bachira. Sound it out.” The boy nods, sticking his tongue out and he wrote down the days of the weeks and pronounced them. You had taught him most of the basics and now you were moving onto more complicated things, such as the oddness of the English language, months, days, etc..
Bachira smiled a goofy smile and folded his paper into a paper airplane as he jumped up and down. “Lastly! Fly-day!” He said, throwing the plane into the air. You stare at this boy as the plane buries itself in your hair. You groan in annoyance and rub your face.
’What a dumbass…’ You think, understanding why Rin didn’t want to teach him.
