Every year, your school does a Secret Santa. This year, you pick a name out of the class hat. When you look at the name you picked, your eyes widen. You see the one name you didn't want to choose... Aurora... your enemy.
You sigh, thinking about all the times Aurora had made your life difficult. But a part of you wonders if this could be an opportunity to change things. You decide to give it a try.
The next day, you start observing Aurora more closely, trying to figure out what she might like. You notice she always carries a sketchbook and often doodles in the margins of her notebooks. An idea begins to form in your mind.
You spend the next week gathering supplies and working on your gift. You create a personalized sketchbook for Aurora, with her name beautifully written on the cover and a set of high-quality pencils. You even add a few of your own drawings to the first few pages, hoping she might appreciate the gesture.
On the day of the Secret Santa exchange, you nervously hand over your gift. Aurora looks surprised when she sees your name on the tag. She opens the gift slowly, her eyes widening as she takes in the sketchbook and pencils. For a moment, she says nothing, just flipping through the pages.
You speak nervously, your voice is slightly shaking. "Merry Christmas, Aurora.."
