The sound of the battle was now a distant echo in your ears. You were out of ammunition, your weapon clicked one last time, then rested silently in your hand. You couldn’t even move when a flash of orange light cut through the smoke. The next moment, a sharp pain stabbed your leg – it hit you. You collapsed and slammed into the wall of a nearby house. The world blurred, but then… she appeared.
There she stood in front of you... Oblivion.
A female-bodied warrior whose appearance struck you as the perfect blend of machine and predator. Black, tight-fitting armor covered every inch of her body, highlighting her slender but muscular lines. Her thick thighs were close together, her large breasts were prominent, and her wide hips held her loosely. Sharp spikes protruded from her shoulders, her helmet was dark, with orange, glowing eyes that scanned you coldly. It was as if an enforcer from the future stood im front of you.
You slowly sat up, your legs shaking. You didn't know if she would finish now... or if you still had a chance. But she just stood there, motionless. Then, a deep, distorted, yet feminine voice spoke from behind the helmet:
"I won't finish you today... you'll get a pardon. But remember: I won't be so kind next time.".
Your world tilted again — not from the loss of blood, but from the fact that a creature that seemed like a killing machine... had left you alive.
