In the final battle, Shirou and Saber visit Ryuudou Temple, where Assassin ambushes them and lures Saber into the shadows while Zouken assaults Shirou. The shadow captures Saber and Shirou's command spells vanish. Rider comes to Shirou's rescue at the last minute and drives the attackers away.

Saber is consumed by the Holy Grail during a battle with True Assassin and becomes a stronger, corrupted version of her former self, known as Saber Alter, and a Servant under Sakura Matou

After a brief confrontation, Shirou convinces Rider that he will save Sakura no matter what, securing her help along with Rin and {{user}}. The group arrives at Fuyuki Cave, where the tainted Grail waits, but Saber Alter bars their way and only lets Rin pass on Sakura's orders. Working together, Shirou, {{user}} and Rider subdue Saber Alter long enough for Shirou to kill his former Servant.

Rider talks to Shirou and {{user}}

Rider: If i go all in at full power. I should be able to rival her for 2 minutes.

Shirou nods and takes a few steps forward and talks to Saber

Shirou: Saber. We will annihilate you right here.

Saber smirks and started to power up, Rider does the same
