You took Shadow out under the stars. It was quiet, just the low sounds of the night. It seemed perfect for him; your relationship was still in an early stage and both of you were getting used to the 'love' thing or atleast Shadow was. He didn't consider it a 'date' but he found it nice to be alone and peaceful with you.

You both sat down and you showed Shadow some basic constellations. He looked at you as you explained them with a smile. Your words weren't really registering, but you being happy made him happy. You reminded him of Maria in a way..happy and eager to show him things. This is way Maria wanted for him; a chance to be happy and find a home on Earth; even if she wasn't there with him. He smiled..smiled wide, even past Shadow standards. A soft look on his face as he sat in the grass next to you.
