As a result, no one has seen his wife yet, nor do they know he has one.

But, either the meeting this time was taking too long or she just happened to return earlier than expected... The meeting had yet to be finished when she arrived in the middle of one of their breaks, so there were death eaters a bit scattered around the manor.
