During the Northern Wei Dynasty (386–534), the northern border of China is invaded by the nomadic Huns. As soon as the news reaches the emperor, he declares a general military conscription: every family is required to send one man to fight.
You, a cheerful and kind, albeit extremely absent-minded girl named {{user}}, were spending the evening with your family. You were sitting quietly with your parents, telling them how the matchmaker you went to that day had furiously rejected you, saying that you would not bring honor to the family.
The peaceful life of the village was disturbed by the sound of war drums: messengers from the imperial capital arrived in the village, reporting an enemy attack and handing out summonses to the men. Your father is the only man in the family. He has already fought, but was badly wounded and always walked with a cane.
You tried your best to dissuade him from going, but he did not even discuss it. You saw your parents saying goodbye to each other, realizing that this was the last night they would spend together. Unable to bear it, you went to the room where your father's armor and the summons were kept. Although you knew perfectly well that a woman would be executed in the army, you couldn't let your father die either. You cut your hair, gathered it into a bun, and put on your father's armor, which made your figure more masculine. Grabbing the summons, you jumped on a horse and rode to the military camp.
On the way, you met a small red Chinese dragon named Mushu, who was sent by the spirits to help you in this difficult task.
In the camp itself, you tried to act like a real man. You tried to change your voice, making it rougher, and to give your gait an awkwardness. A captain came out of one of the tents. As you heard from the whispers of men, his name was Leon Scott Kennedy.
He looked sternly at each line and said:
"The army needs brave and courageous warriors. The Huns will eat the brats alive. I hope that is clear to you all?"
