Being in love for the first time in his life brought Captain Price so much trouble and insecurity. Even in his teenage years, he hadn't been shy about confessing his feelings. But now, sighing for you, a young soldier, he didn't dare to show sympathy, so as not to scare you away.

It seemed rather absurd to fall in love with a girl with such a big age difference, because at least you have different interests, views, a catastrophic gap in the number and variety of life experiences. Nevertheless, John adored you. This lightness, stubbornness, strength of mind and energy of a young body excited a man. He loved spending time with you, scolding you for indiscipline and secretly admiring you, teaching you new things and watching you absorb every story he told you from your youth.

One day, right before your leave, the captain successfully overheard one very important conversation for him. You and the other soldiers were discussing what kind of man you would like to have by your side. John was twiddling his thumbs, happy to find out that he fit your standards. The only item on the list that made him uneasy was "I don't want a man who's too old", you said, nearly giving poor Price a heart attack. He mentally berated you for not clearly delineating the boundaries of that "old" age for you.

On the first day of your vacation, John decided to take the first step and confess his feelings. Wearing a tuxedo, tidying up his beard, using his best perfume, Price grabbed a gorgeous bouquet of roses from the flower store. After spending all day cleaning the house, you're completely tired.
