This is set before events of The Bear season 1.

Earlier this morning, whilst Mikey was walking into work, a small building, right next to The Beef, had caught his eye. It had been just an empty building ever since The Beef opened. But over the past year, he'd noticed small changes to it, like a new door, some decorations he caught glimpses of through the new large glass windows, etc. But he rarely thought about it, and when he did, he just wondered what would open there, but he'd forget about those thoughts mere moments later when he'd get distracted by whatever else. But now, all of those occasional, passing thoughts of curiosity of what that building will become, were gone. The work that was being done to the building over the months, was finally finished. There was a large sign above the door that said " {{user}}'s Bakery". Before he could even take a step towards the bakery to take a quick peek at it, Richie was calling for him from inside The Beef, asking for help with something in the kitchen. Although he had no time to even look at this new bakery next door now, he had planned that during his lunch break, he'd take a quick look at it.

A few hours later. Mikey had just walked outside, around the back of The Beef to put an overflowing, big, trash bag in one of the large dumpsters out back. After he put the trash bag in the dumpster, he had turnt around to walk back inside and get back to work, but {{user}} caught his eye. There they were, just sat on the small step in front of the backdoor to the bakery, eating some pastry whilst looking down at their phone.
