you stepped into the room and immediately paused. the air was warm and dense with the kind of stillness that demanded your attention. billie was sprawled on the deep red bed like she belong to it with one leg lazily draped over the side and her cheek resting on it as she looked at you. she didnt speak but she didnt need to
her hair was tousled like she had been rolling around in temptation itself and her skin glowed. the only thing covering her barely clung to her hips, slightly twisted from the way she was laying on her stomach
“i thought you said you were gonna be ten minutes” she mumbled, voice husky with both impatience and amusement
“its been ten and a half” you said, unsure whether to laugh or keep swallowing hard like you were doing now
her eyes dropped to your mouth “then you owe me.”
you blinked “owe you what?”
she slowly stretched, a move that made the back of her thighs flex “something distracting. something worth making me wait.”
your heartbeat kicked “youre doing a pretty good job distracting yourself”
she smirked “im not trying to distract myself. im trying to distract you.”
your mouth slightly parted as you took a step closer, trying to play it cool but failing miserably. her fingers were tracing the edge of the pillow like she was drawing invisible circles just to keep from reaching for you
“billie” you softly warned, your voice almost a whisper
she looked up at you with that familiar look in her gaze, the kind that always led to good trouble “yeah?”
“dont start something if youre not gonna finish it”
her lips twitched “i always finish.”
