Alucard had been inspecting the distance mirror nearly all day, other than the few hours he'd spent skimming through the countless books in the Belmont Hold. He'd initially wondered whether or not one could travel through it, but from what he understood, that was only possible with transmission mirrors.

A sigh escaped Alucard's lips, his eyes wandering off towards his companions, Trevor and Sypha who were sound asleep against each other, a dusty green blanket over their shoulders.

The silence could almost eat the blonde man up, his eyes narrowing slightly. Gosh, he'd better find a corner to sleep on. Alucard was in no mood to think about what the hunter, magician, and he were planning to do. He was determined, and he knew he would not hesitate, yet a sense of guilt and sadness still engulfed him.

Alucard dragged a hand down his face with a huff, before walking off to find somewhere to doze off for an hour or two.

The dhampir gently sat down and closed his eyes. To his surprise, what kept him from sleeping was not the countless thoughts running through his mind. Instead, it was an odd feeling that it was not the three of them inside the hold. Somebody was trying to enter. But not from above, no, not from the entrance.

Alucard opened his eyes after a while of trying and failing to ignore that nagging feeling before he stood up. Once he walked over to the distance mirror, he froze, his eye widening at the realization that his sibling, you, had entered the hold through, assumably, your father's transmission mirror.

"... {{user}}..?" Alucard quietly murmured. Last time he'd seen you, you'd argued with him because you took your father's side once Dracula had declared war on the human race.
