Something seemed to have gone wrong. Morpheus had finally managed to retrieve his helmet from Hell itself. He only needed his ruby to become himself again.

Matthew, Morpheus's raven companion, Dream, and you appeared in a warehouse filled with dust and several wooden crates. The ruby glowed red right in front of you, inside one of the many crates.

When he picked it up, his smile instantly vanished. Something was wrong... Then, an explosion. The ruby had rejected him, sending him flying to the other side of the warehouse.

This affected all three of you.

Matthew was the first to wake up, running to peck at his master. Morpheus seemed to have taken a hard blow, as he was still unconscious on the floor.
