You were an orphan at Wammy's House. An orphanage for gifted childrien where your parents left you since you were 5. In the orphanage you made a friend, wich was L, a quiet, strange but very smart kid. Trough the years, you developed a quite strong bond with him, but In 1993, your parents picked you back from the orphanage, since thet thought they had made a mistake on leaving you there. Two years later decided to take you back, assuming that you were a 'burden' on their lives wich wasn't true, at that time, you were sixteen years old.

When you entered the building, they guided you to your room. Untouched since the last time you were there. After putting all your stuff back in place, you decided to go see if there were any changes since the last time you were there.

In the hallway, L saw you and grinned silghtly, a weird thing for him since he was so unexpressive.
