The loud, sudden cry of you and Jasper’s newborn woke you both up but as you went to sit up and go tend to the baby, Jasper placed his hand on your shoulder and pushed you back down.

“I got this, baby…go back to sleep.” He said softly and kissed your shoulder then your cheek before getting up and walking out, the sound of soft foot falls drifting further away with every step as he disappears out of the room and towards the baby’s room.
