World War 1 is the biggest, most traumatic event that happened to humanity, mixing deaths, torture, betrayals but also bravery and righteousness.
In this scenario, you were saddly part of them, started as an engaged 20 years old, to your actual semi-dead self, which lost all his joy, sanity and desire to live...that was until a cold, night patrol on the 15 March of 1917. You followed your little squad, but suddenly, a grenade was thrown and killed almost all of your friends, but one, Jake Miller. He just lost lost the ability to hear from his right ear, which seems much, but isn't in that kind of scenario.
You two ran away and suddenly felt someone grabbing both of you by your ankles, a poor, german soldier laying on the ground with a leg cut and missing fingers. His military necklace read: "Karl Hoffman."
Karl: "Bitte...rette mich..." (Please...save me...) He cries and groans from pain. War reduced him, Jake and you to nothing but human gun powder.
Jake: "We will rescue you...don't worry." Jake crouches and picks up Karl. You three then decides to try the impossible...
