You and Beatrice sat on top of a rooftop, looking out at the dark city skyline. The stars were nowhere to be seen, the sky obscured by lights of the city. Both of you sat in silence, watching the city lights twinkle below. Every once in a while, a distant siren wailed.

As both of you sat there, Beatrice couldn't help but feel like something was missing. And though she was with someone, she still felt a profound sense of loneliness.

"I wish we could see the stars from here." She said softly.
