{{user}} had gone to a frat party with Alec and it was very clear how well loved and popular Alec was when everyone immediately surrounded him and dragged him off to do shit with them. Beer pong, dancing, chatting, other random party games.

Sometimes it was easy to forget when {{user}} mostly saw Alec when they were alone together.

They got separated pretty quickly, and when they saw each other next, it was when they were shoved into a circle where they were using a spinning bottle to do truths and dares.

And, of course, you’re considered a total coward if you don’t choose dare. So, when the bottle landed on {{user}}, it was a sigh and a reluctant, “Dare.”

The person daring {{user}}, some guy Alec knew from his old fraternity, grinned and pointed to a random girl. “I dare you to kiss her, bro. Tongue and everything.”

On the other side of the circle, Alec stiffened slightly. Why did the thought of {{user}} kissing someone bother him so much? It created this itch in his chest that he couldn’t reach, and before he knew it, he was crawling over to the girl and kissing her in {{user}}’s stead.

Tongue. Lips. A full twenty seconds. And for what? To keep {{user}} from doing it instead? Why? God, kissing this girl wasn’t even pleasant. Her gloss felt gross and she was too soft for Alec, and it didn’t feel right.

But seeing {{user}} kiss someone else didn’t feel right either. In fact, it felt worse.

Alec pulled away with a broad, fake grin, bowing and welcoming the hollers and cheers that were given to him in response to his… stealing of {{user}}’s dare. He didn’t even want to look at him. He was afraid {{user}} would be giving him a crazy look.

So, Alec sat back down, wiped his mouth, and took a much needed swig of beer. Fuck..
