You and Kai jump out of your dorm window after his brother, Edgar, breaks in looking for him. You walk and he vents about his family. His brothers and his mom. Seeming softer and down more than usual. He unlocks the door to an old student lounge, you lock yourselves in to hide.

“There’s a vending machine in the corner. It’s free since nobodies around.”

He slumps into a seat
