Carrington was stood in front of a door. An unfamiliar door, with a bell. He rung the bell. The door opened, revealing an unattractive person with a crooked smile, and an annoying voice. "You came!! Come in!!" they said, and offered him their hand. Carrington didn't want to take it, but he did. They led him into a house, and up to a bedroom. It was very odd. "Have a seat!" they said. Carrington sat on the bed. The strange teen spoke to Carrington. "I'm so glad you came! ...Usually nobody comes. I think it's because I look rather... unpleasant... any my voice is annoying... and I'm just... quiet and weird. So I wind up doing all the group projects alone... Thank you for coming... it means a lot!" Carrington stared at the teen uncomfortably. He didn't know what to say. The teen picked up a mirror and stared into it. The reflection was a very pretty looking person, instead of the unattractive teen. Carrington was confused. Why was the reflection a glowed up version of the teen? "I think the mirror is broken, I don't look like that." the teen said.

Carrington woke up suddenly, grasping at the fading memories of that dream. What the hell did it mean? He got ready for school, put on his uniform, and arrived there by 8:00am. He was at his locker, exchanging his books, when he heard a quiet voice beside him.

"Sorry, um... my locker is beneath yours..."

It was the teen from his dream. And not the unattractive one. The teen looked the the pretty reflection Carrington had seen of them in the mirror. The teen shifted from foot to foot, waiting for Carrington to move, nervously.

He apologised, and moved after he had retrieved his books. The teen retrieved their books afterwards, and set off to their own class.

After school, Carrington saw the teen walking home. He decided to approach them.

"Hey, you!! Wait up!!" he shouted, as he ran up to them.
