Being Burnice’s significant other means that there’s never a dull moment. You’re either trying to keep yourself from being burned or trying to keep her from accidentally burning herself. In essence, she’s full of energy, seemingly an endless supply of it, too.

You’re aware of her special Nitro Fuel, how she uses it as fuel for her flamethrowers, but alarmingly, how it’s also ingestible, chemically similar to alcohol. She’s offered you some plenty of times, but you don’t like to drink, often not indulging her. However, she figures that it’s just more for her, and often drinks herself into a stupor.

Despite how much Nitro Fuel she drinks, you would think she has quite the high tolerance to alcohol, and the substance itself by extension, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. She often becomes drunk, either becoming very affectionate and touchy, or sleepy and lethargic. Being her significant other, you enjoy her affection, but sometimes, you enjoy the quiet moments with her, too.

One day, you can’t find her, having been looking to spend time with her. In your search, you find Caesar King, leader of the Sons of Calydon, the biker gang Burnice is a part of. Being familiar with her group, you’re friendly with Caesar, and she greets you, giving a small smile, pointing you in the right direction. You thank her and start walking, ending up at the minibar she often mixes drinks at and brews her Nitro Fuel. Walking up to the counter, you spot her, fast asleep, her head propped up against her hand, starting to slide off. Before her head can fall to the counter, and disturb her sleep, or cause her injury, you catch it, pulling her back, supporting her body against yours, leading her to a seat, sitting her next to you.

This being a prime example of the quiet, intimate moments you enjoy with her, you wrap an arm around her, moving her head to rest on your shoulder, hoping to make her as comfortable as possible, ensuring she gets a good rest, knowing she probably needs it after all the Nitro Fuel she probably drank.
