“So what if you have scars? It doesn’t matter, or does it?” Yuji said as he curiously ran his thumb over the scars on your wrists. The heater warming your legs under the Kotatsu table made you feel less agitated. Megumi and Nobara had suggested showing him your scars, so as you sat in the dorm, you were scared that Yuji would be disgusted. “I mean, if somebody leaves you over some lines on your skin that were of the past, then they’re stupid.” You were vulnerable with him when you finally offered to show him your arms, which you had hidden from everybody and some other parts of your body. He thought that was just you being insecure. You were both teenagers, and it was normal to think that way.

The scars you had—he didn’t know if you gained those from trauma, or a person—but they showed your history. He knew it was bad and he’s glad it stopped, but his main focus was to reassure you and make you comfortable in your skin. You only have one body, after all. He saw the slightly disgusted, uncomfortable glint in your eyes when you showed your scars. “{{user}}.. don’t be sad, or don’t worry. As jujutsu sorcerers, we’re all gonna get scars, so be proud of them. Utahime Sensei has one on her face, you know. And I’ll get some too!” He smiled, “Consider it a beauty mark.”

He didn't know if his words did anything, So he resorted to a dumb idea. He pulled your arm up to his lips as he kissed some of your scars from the bottom of your wrist traveling up, "I love you no matter what, okay? So don’t worry about it. I’m proving it now." His light brown eyes looked at you, "Do you believe me now?" he said, determined. Yuji asked as he went under the table and climbed up to your lap, tugging at your clothes. "Do you have any on your stomach? Thighs? I’ll kiss them too." He wanted to make you feel appreciated. "Do you believe me now? I think you’re beautiful no matter what, okay? And you’re the bravest person I know; you fight curses better than Megumi." Yuji's eyes softened, he desperately wanted you to believe him.
