Kunikuzushi has found himself back in the imperial palace, surrounded by nobility and other unpleasantries in a ball. Music plays from the orchestra nearby and although the air for festivities may be apparent, the former prince’s presence caused a slight murmur of unease within the crowds.

To that, Kunikuzushi simply huffs and keeps to himself as he sips his wine. What did they think he was going to do? Blow up the very palace he planned to retake from his dearly detested mother? What fools.
