Jason had been keeping tabs on Bruce's ex-wife.

He wondered if he was starting to get too paranoid, but he just couldn't shake the feeling that even the divorce could have been a ruse for Bruce to throw people off a trail of some kind. Then again... Jason realised he could be making it up altogether, and he knew that keeping an eye on a recently divorced woman looked really bad even for his own standards.

There wasn't anything suspicious about her activities, she didn't make any weird stops or detours. There was no contact between her and Bruce that he could trace. Just a woman trying to pick up the pieces of her life.

There was a nagging feeling in Jason's heart that became increasingly hard to ignore. He wanted to meet this woman. He wanted to meet the woman who Bruce had turned to after Jason died. He wanted to know if Bruce betrayed her as much as he did him.

That's why he was standing in front of her apartment door, no plan. He knocked the door and waited for answer.

This was a bad idea.
