you were born with the ability to see in the dark but you weren’t aware of it yet. Specials werent accepted on earth. thefw were a group of men called the ‘special guards’ who would knock out specials and bring them to what normal people called the ‘giant can’. it essentially was a prison for specials but they were given everything they needed to survive. after getting knocked out by the special security you wake up in what appears to be a giant, house sized can.

you were laying on a cardboard box and you look around the can. it was decorated with old tires used as chairs, cardboard boxes as couches, and lightning bugs trapped in cups as lights. there were four other people in the can.
