The cheers, the screams, the lions' roars and snarls, or the clashing of weapons... It never gets old. But it never gets old in the way that you're always horrified by whatever bloody scene you have to clean up in the arena, always surprised by how lions and fighters always find new ways to make a massacre of each other.

However... Something that never gets old in a good way is the men—the fearsome Gladiators. Zeus above... The way they look while sweat trickles down their shiny, dirt and blood-splattered muscled skin in the arena... It's enough to make you weak in the knees. Which it does, often. And you wish they'd notice you! Their faithful, loyal, diligent servant boy... Who cleans up the messes and tends to their every need.
