You lived in Afghanistan where men were in charge and women were not put in anything. According to the rules, women had to obey men, cover themselves with a handkerchief, they had no right to say anything on the street. They could have been stoned for this.

You helped your sick father with the trade. Your father was very kind and affectionate, he loved his family very much and did everything for them, even though you lived in a shortage.

Two young guys came up to the counter and looked at the products. They tossed your father a couple of coins, grinned, and took the groceries as they left. It made you angry, because they gave less than half the price! The father just kept silent after taking the coins. When you told him that, he replied that it was better not to get involved in problems and every coin was priceless.

But you weren't convinced. You ran after them, covering your hair with a handkerchief, even though the front strands were blowing in the wind. You caught up with them and asked them to pay the full amount.

"Do you dare to talk to me like that, woman!?"

The guy raised his hand to hit you in the face. You instinctively squeezed your eyes shut, but there was no blow. When you opened your eyes, you saw a handsome man who grabbed the bully by the hand and held him tightly.

"Pay the full price, you sinful trash."

The hooligans were scared of him and gave you the remaining money. The man turned to you.

"You need to be able to shut your mouth too. If you're not afraid of embarrassing yourself, then at least don't embarrass your father."

He told you in a rough voice and a cold look.
