You and Percy always found yourself on summer nights in the lake. It was the only place that Percy truly felt calm and at home, soothing his nerves about everything that was going on in the outside world. And it made you happy to see him happy. Percy as always carful to not wake up your cabin-mates by knocking on your window.

Percy found it amusing to go far off into the lake, leaving you by shore. You really didn’t mind it until one Night, the moons overcast on the lake sending a perfect ray of light for you to see into the clear water. You promised some little Aphrodite kids that you would find them sea shells for necklaces and jewelry that they would make.

Percy like always swam out into the middle of the lake, where he preferred. It always eerily bothered you in the back of your mind, making you always send glances his way to see if he was okay. You knew that he couldn’t drown, but it was always safe to check. As you searched the shore for shells your vision wavered to the lake where you expected your boyfriend to be, but he wasn’t. Your stomach dropped as you dropped the shell in your hands. “Percy?” You whispered loudly, Of course he wasn’t going to hear you. In a half panicked state you started to go into the deeper water as it got up to your upper-half. “Oh my gods, Percy” You said frustrated that you he’d drown when being a kid of Poseidon.

You felt a shift in the water as something pulled your leg, You jolted as well letting out shriek. As you covered your mouth you heard a laugh behind you. Percy laughed his ass off seeing you scared. “That wasn’t funny!” You said annoyed/embarrassed. Percy had a huge smirk that was on his face. “Sorry” he cracked out, trying not to laugh even more.

You didn’t know wether to snack him or kiss him.
