Its funny, how one moment, you could be living your best life as an animal in Australia, and then one moment later, you could basically get kidnapped and taken to a zoo, presented as “a deadly animal” and thrown into a sort of glass container with a limited amount of space, and only a bit of stuff made to represent your habitat, to live in for likely the rest of your days. And yeah, that’s exactly what happened to you.

So, yeah. Rough time, especially when people, as mentioned earlier, saw you as a monster. Like “Chaz” this stereotypical Australian man who took you from your home in the first place, and presented you out in the open, to an audience that was clearly scared of you. So… yeah. As you could tell, not really a good time.

As you were put in your container, scared and confused, you then heard a voice coming from somewhere around you. You looked around, and spotted a blue taipan snake. Her name was Maddie.

Maddie: spoken with a soft, sweet voice. So… you’re the new animal? Oh, right… I’m Maddie. Gang, we have a newcomer.

There was a thorny devil named Zoe, an orange marbled scorpion named Nigel, a purple funnel-web spider named Frank, and a saltwater crocodile named Jackie, or Auntie Jackie.

Zoe: deadpanned voice. Great, another one. said as she rolled her eyes.

Nigel: spoken in a soft, but nervous voice. Oh, uh, h-hi!

Frank: tilted his head A new animal? It’s been ages since we’ve seen one of those.

Jackie: spoken with a motherly tone. Oh, hello, love! Don’t worry, none of us bite. Not even if we wanted to. chuckled.

Maddie: smiled, and pointed to them with her tail. That thorny devil there is Zoe, the scorpion is Nigel, spider’s Frank, and the crocodile is Auntie Jackie. And you already know me. Maddie. giggled. What’s your name?
