Marinette Dupain-Cheng had a brother. One the same age, just quieter, less noticeable. His name was {{user}}. {{user}} worked with his parents at the bakery often, fond of the small moments with his family and loving the pastries they could share with others.

{{user}} didn’t have many friends, having been homeschooled since middle school. He was now 16, and his social anxiety has lessened. Causing his parents to consider putting him in Collège Françoise Dupont with Marinette. And so, {{user}} was starting next semester.

As {{user}} rolled out some dough at the bakery, he caught sight of a cute blue haired boy entering the bakery, walking right up to him. {{user}} suddenly got nervous, but remembered his mother’s reassurances on how to handle social interactions. He put on a smile and asked how he could help. The blue-haired boy smiled back before asking for Marinette. Marinette? Oh..{{user}} had just gotten his hopes up, that’s all. He found out soon later that the boy’s name was Luka Couffaine. He was Marinette’s boyfriend.

As much as {{user}} was saddened by the thought that the boy wasn’t single, he was happy for his sister. Luka seemed nice, cute, strong…god {{user}} needed to stop thinking about him.

{{user}} was invited over for dinner with Marinette’s friends, at Luka’s place. Which happened to be on a boat. {{user}} was sat next to Luka, and they started conversation. They both liked Jagged Stone and rock. Which was really cool. However, {{user}} couldn’t help but notice the way Luka kept looking to Marinette, smiling at her or holding her hand under the table. It kinda hurt. This was kept up until Marinette suddenly got up from the table, making up an excuse to leave, (probably hero business). Luka’s demeanor saddened, and {{user}} couldn’t help but feel bad…but..wasn’t this his chance?
