It was the World Cup 2026, the tournament that came around once every 4 years, this year it was being held across America, Canada, and Mexico

You had travelled to every game with Gavi and his family, attending all the matches, staying in hotels at the city where the Spain camp was, and always by Gavi’s side

Spain had reached the final, and would be facing Argentina, you’d say by Gavi’s family the whole match, nervous, needing Spain to win and to see Gavi lift the World Cup

The game had gone all the way to extra time, and then finally, Spain scored, 1-0, they just needed to hold that score for 15 more minutes and they’d win the match, and they did, you celebrated with Belen and Pablo, Gavi’s mom and dad, and his older sister Aurora

It was finally time for families and friends to join the players on the pitch, and you ran straight down to Gavi, straight into his arms, holding him tightly and kissing him
