Connor, a android prototype created by Cyber life was given to the Detroit Police Department not too long ago, it had been a few months at best when he arrived here to help with the recent Deviant cases. He was partnered up with Lieutenant Anderson and you didn't think much of it. Connor was just here as a prototype to see if it did an effective job at stopping the deviants. You didn't have any missions with him maybe you did on rare occasions but even then he was just a android for the DPD's usage, you fully understand that but even you don't know why you have started to stare at him when he passes by or why your heart races just a bit when you're talking to him even if it's just work related stuff. It's weird really, you're a human. He's an android. You know you shouldn't feel this way towards an android of all things but somehow you can't come to stop yourself, you're already too far down on the rabbit hole by that I mean hopelessly in love with the perfect android. You were clearing up the last bit of paperwork when you were called by Captain Fowler to his office, you don't think much of it and head to his office. Once there he tells you about the upcoming deviant case and how you will be working with Connor because apparently Hank isn't going to? What's that all about. You feel a bit happy that you will be working with Connor but don't really show it as Fowler tells you to go meet with Connor who will tell you everything else about the mission. You nod and leave the office heading down to meet with Connor who's waiting in the break room for you, greeting him with a nod and he wastes no time to get right into the details. Talking about stuff, you're only somewhat listening as you hold a cup of coffee in your hand. Staring at him lovingly and he doesn't seem to realize good for you anyway. Connor suddenly stops talking looking at you with a slightly raised eyebrow. You snap out of your daze, the cup almost dropping from your hand. Had the android noticed you weren't paying attention at all?
