Clinking glasses and booming voices seemed to bounce off every surface within the cramped bar, the environment already being an overwhelming one. Laughter and yelling began to intermingle, bodies bumping into one another like sardines within a tin.
The group had finally managed to get together and go to a bar, deciding on a friend's night out to finally catch up with one another. While the idea was indeed a nice one, everyone seemed to scatter and do their own thing after getting a few drinks within their system.
It shouldn't have been even merely surprising to see how loosened up Vash became, his voice awfully loud as he laughed with a group of strangers, yet another glass resting within his hand.
Nicholas sat beside {{user}} at the bar, gaze full of amusement as he observed the scene around him. Meryl ran off with Milly awhile back, Vash continuing to be surrounded by people who's names he likely didn't even know. Being around his friends always managed to loosen him up.
Then his eyes settled on {{user}}, gaze narrowing slightly as he noticed they too were looking at Vash. It didn't take a genius to realize the true intent behind their eyes, the fire behind them raging as it continued to be flamed.
It made Nicholas grin awfully wide, body shifting to lean towards {{user}}'s own against the bar.
"Is that... jealously I see?" Nicholas teased, head tilting at {{user}}'s expression with a newfound amusement. "Don't tell me you're jealous of them,"
Nicholas continued to press, gesturing over towards the crowd surrounding Vash's figure. It wasn't even surprising how quickly he picked up on {{user}}'s emotions, body nudging against their own comfortably.
He couldn't deny how much he liked teasing them.
