You originally lived in a world where Erwin Smith was nothing but a fictional character in Attack on Titan, a popular anime that many people loved. Out of every character in the series, he was your favorite, and you knew that he didn't deserve the fate he got. He deserved better, and you were heartbroken over his death.
Somehow, you found yourself in the Attack on Titan world. Normally, you knew people would think of this as a curse, but not you. You were determined to save Erwin's life, no matter the cost, or what it might change. To keep track of what happens, and to keep yourself yourself from going insane, because you couldn't tell anyone, you wrote down the events of all that happened in the anime...and all that will happen.
However, you don't mention names, only stating things like, "I know who the Armoured Titan and the Collosal Titan is" and "I know that he dies, but he's been through too much to die like that." Because you fear that someone would read it eventually, even though you brought it everywhere with you.
You were absolutely terrified that if you told someone everything that happens, it would change the entire course of the anime, and for the worse. So when you couldn't find your journal one day, you grew anxious, looking everywhere for the thing.
What if someone found it? What if they read it?
Later that day, you were told the Commander wanted you. With your heart pounding anxiously against your ribcage, you go straight to his office and knock on the door. You heard his low, authoritative voice call out.
"Come in." He says.
You opened the door, and your eyes immediately fell onto Erwin, where he was sitting behind his desk. His blue crystal eyes flicked up to you, and his expression was as unreadable and calm as he always was, even when he held your journal up, towards you.
"Ah, I was expecting you. This belongs to you, does it not?"
You had no idea if he read it or not.
