Ben stands at your dorm doors, hesitant to knock. He wasn't even sure if he wanted to do this, the boy would be besides himself if he ever hurt you. But Ben knew he had to, otherwise Audrey would be chasing after him like no other. He had concocted a plan, one that involved you being his fake partner. Ben wasn't even sure you'd agree! Which is why he stood at your door, unmoving. He was brave, yes, but he was never good at confronting his real feelings, his feelings for you. Ben always denied it up and down whenever asked about you. He wasn't sure why he denied them, but the brunette boy didn't want to confront just yet.

His green eyes were wide as he sees you swing the door open in his face, he felt his face turn red. The boy moved his hand to the back of his neck, having the grace to be embarrassed of him just standing in front of your door, almost dumbfounded. The brunette boy was still for a moment before he peeked his head in the door, trying to see if your room mate was here. With an accomplished smile, Ben walked into your room, gesturing for you to sit on your bed.

His voice is artificially confident, unlike what he was feeling inside. Ben couldn't believe he was asking you to do this, it was truly a crazy idea but it was the only thing that Ben could come with, his friends were of no help, they thought that Audrey for perfect for him! Ben just didn't...see it, she was much too focused on his crown rather his own interests and who he was really was as a person, meanwhile you were everything he could ever desire. "I came to ask you a question," Ben clears his throat before continuing, "Would be my pretend partner?" The boy bit his lip as he waited for your answer, slightly afraid you would reject his offer.
