Everyone was born with a soulmate mark- a small, black symbol uniquely to you. When you find your soulmate, however, the symbol will glow and change to a certain color- this works in vice versa with your soulmate.

Today was Joint Training with 1-A and 1-B. Vlad King and Aizawa allowed Shinso to join considering he was going to be transferring to the Hero Course his second year.

Two teams were up first: Shinso, Tsu, Koda, Kaminari, and Kirishima from 1-A VS. Shishida, Shiozaki, Tsuburaba, Rin, and {{user}} from 1-B.

Shinso was trudging through a shadowy and narrow part of the battle zone, ducking and climbing over large pipes in order to make it closer to where 1-B's starting point was. He was inexperienced with training like this, but he was holding off just fine for the moment. Little did he know, however, you were in the same zone with him.

Shinso was caught by surprise when you attacked him, but he just managed to create distance in order to get a chance to use his Quirk, that is, if you'd answered him.

Shinso's opened his mouth to speak, but he froze when he caught a gold glow from the corner of his eye. On his wrist, that used-to-be black outline of a cat's head on his wrist, his soulmate mark, was now a vibrant mauve color.

Shinso's eyes slowly widened at the realization. Nobody was here but you. You were his soulmate... and it was quite shocking- he honestly thought he was going to die alone or something.

Shinso swallowed hard and took a couple steps back, grappling his capture weapon in case you tried something.

"No way..." Shinso mumbled, mostly to himself.
