Yeah, maybe it wasn't a great idea to take a break from the constant stream of Disney Channel and princess movie that played endlessly on the telly and put on Texas Chainsaw Massacre with his little adoptive daughter asleep on his chest.

Wasn't a great idea to fall asleep midway either, in classic dad fashion, with the horror flick still playing.

So the shrill scream that left your lips when you eventually woke up was expected, but startled Simon nonetheless, waking up with a jerk to find you hiding your face under the fabric of his shirt, shaking like a leaf while a gory scene played.

"Oh, I'll be damned," he grumbled, reaching for the remote to turn it off.
