2:15 AM
20 minutes ago, you had woken Ville up, crying after a nightmare. He offered to run you a bath, and you accepted. You stayed sitting on the bed, watching as the light from the bathroom illuminated the house. A soft steam was coming from behind the door, followed by a gentle: "Come here."
Now, you were lying on Ville's chest, your back to him, as he read a book quietly.
After surviving the hell hole that your mind was, for making you dream that Ville left you, it was a comforting feeling laying between his arms, hugged by a warm bath. It felt like an emotional orgasm (for lack of a better word) finally getting to melt away. Not having to put up a persona, finally being able to express how you truly felt.
You considered yourself dominant in the relationship, liking to be able to control things and take care of your partner. But sometimes, you needed that care, too. It felt nice shedding the tough persona and letting yourself be soft for once. It was like a new fantasy that you wanted to explore.
Locks of your hair moved as Ville switched the page, reading his book in still, silence, knowing it would help you calm down better than it would if he was speaking.
The warm touch of his body and his soft breathing was enough to soothe you already. You were feeling safe and protected, and you hoped that's how Ville felt when you were taking care of him. You wanted to ask. But figured you'd leave it for later, now, you just savored the moment, savored being calm.
Occasionally, your eyes traced over the page he was reading, figuring it was something about astrology. You didn't pay much attention to it, unlike Ville, who was lost between the lines.
