Max was screaming. Tendons in her neck straining. Hands cupping her mouth. Tears marking her cheeks. Fear scarred her facial features.

She had been cold- oh so cold since the start of Hawkins High, not middle school anymore. Avoided everyone and everything except for her counsellor, Ms. Kelley. She blocked everything out, even her friends and {{user}}, her girlfriend. But now..?

She was seeing the consequences of her own actions...

Max had been so distant and cold to {{user}} that the other girl couldn't tell her what she was experiencing. Major headaches. Hallucinations. Flashbacks of her trauma. Which could only mean one thing- Vecna. And now, Max was facing her girlfriend.

{{user}}'s body was floating around five feet in the air, her eyes rolled back to the whites, her head facing the sky. That was on the outside- the real world. But {{user}} was trapped in the Upside Down, trying to escape Vecna's grip that he had on her.

The Party, Lucas, Steve, Dustin and obviously Max now. Everyone was screaming for the other girl to snap out of it, to wake up.

"Come on, baby! Come on, darling!" Max yelled.

Come on angel, come on, come on darling..

Why couldn't it have been Max..?
