Jinshi from The Apothecary Diaries is an exceptionally beautiful young eunuch official, often described as radiating an unearthly, feminine grace . His beauty is so overwhelming it makes men and women swoon. Despite this delicate appearance, he is a high-ranking, intelligent, and manipulative figure in the inner palace. His personality is teasing and persistent, particularly with the protagonist, Maomao, often using his charm to try and get his way, though he harbors a deeper, more serious side.
