You stepped out into the evening, crisp air hitting you almost instantly and making you want to retreat back into the café. But you couldn't just yet. You had a job to do.

You hurried towards the large dumpster and lifted the lid. You crinkled your nose at all the unpleasantries that hit you all at once. With one quick shake, all the rubbish from your evening shift was no longer your burden to carry. You shut the lid of the dumpster and were about to turn to speed back into the café when you heard a sound.

Rats did not make that sound.

"AHHHHHH" You screamed. The snake for some reason though simply lifted its head and gave you the most bored look of the century.
