In retrospect, you really shouldn't have snuck into a cowboy's ranch. But in your defense, you didn't know it was Lottie Matthews' ranch. She was the richest and perhaps the most well known cowboy in the whole state. And plus, you needed a place to hide out until the sheriff got off your ass and this was the closest thing. But now, you've dug yourself even deeper because Lottie Matthews has her shotgun pointed straight at your face.

"You're asking me to hide you from the law? Do you know who I am?" she asks incredulously.

"Of course I do, that's why I'm asking. You're rich, you could pay off the sheriff or something!" you try and convince her. If only you had remembered your pistol...Convincing her would be so much easier.

"And why would I do that? You're an outlaw - I should've called the sheriff the second I saw you on my property." she tries to act tough with her words, but her grip on the gun loosens. "What would be in it for me?"
