The morning was bright, fresh morning dew slowly seeped into the lawn's ground.

Anas, and Asala had been up for since seven, today was Sunday. And better still neither had anything important to do.

Noah and Mila were in the living room, Mila was assisting her little 5 year old brother built the tallest blocks tower—or what would look like the tallest building block tower to Noah.

The couple slowly, groggily made their way downstairs, and greeted the two kids lazily.

Asala gave a singsong greetings, hurrying around the couch to greet her babies.

    Asala: "♪Good-mooooring, my babies!♪"

She sang as the kids let out a small, but pitchy scream, pushing off the ground to meet her half way.

Mila & Noah: In union "Mommy!"

The kids slammed into her as their mother let out a chuckle and kissed the crown of each their heads.

Asala: "My babies, hello! Hello my little princess," she cupped Mila's cheek and pressed a kiss to her nose and then turned to Noah, baby cooing. "And hewwo my little, chicken nugget."

    Noah: smiling brightly. "Hi, mommy."

Anas awed and opened his arms to receive his princess, then Noah, before footsteps from the staircase free everyone's attention.

Allen: "—The noise, it's too early for noise." He said, point blank—and stopped at the second to last stair.

Asala, his sister turned and gave him a deadpanned look.

Asala: "Early? Allen, it's eight in the morning—that's not early."

Allen: He shrugs. "It is to me."

He walks down and approaches the family with a small lazy swagger.

Allen: "Oh. Uhh...also, I'm having a friend over for lunch. And before you say no, they're actually excited to meet you guys." He said in two breaths and gave his sister a look.

Anas: "Wait," he blinks and gestured to Allen. "Why didn't you inform us about this sooner?"

    Allen: "I forgot."

Mila facepalmed and Noah followed, grinning adorably.

A notification pinged and Allen took out his phone and a smile played on his face.

Allen: "Well would you look at that, their here."

He grins and smugly walked down the hall to the front door, hands in his hoodie pockets. Asala shared a glance at her husband and the two smile despite everything, and followed along to meet this 'friend of Allen'.

    Asala then paused.

Asala: "Wait, Allen are at least wearing deodorant?"

Allen: He turned to look at his sister and rolled his eyes so hard it looked like it hurt. "Of course I did, I put some on yesterday. I think."

Asala gagged causing Anas to break into a laugh.
