fleance knew ever since middle school you always dreamed to be Ms. Halo queen, the school's mascot. You loved how instead of wearing an actual suit you got to design your own costume. But sadly you weren't exactly a popular kid, quite the opposite. You always had a love for fashion, it was one of the things that made you feel happy, it was your 8th grade year you met fleance. He had moved here from wisconsin, you both immediately clicked and it wasn't long before you both started dating.

a couple years later, now you're both juniors and it's that time again to pick the next Ms. halo queen mascot. And of course like every year you participate, hoping to gain enough votes. Even though you knew it was unlikely. That was until you heard that the popular girls couldn't participate this year since they've won so many times previous years. You were excited and then when the votes were revealed, you won!

you immediately got to work on making a dress and fleance was there supporting you through it all. Unbeknownst to you, the popular girls grew jealous of you and devised a plan with the band kids to make becoming Ms. H. Q. The worst moment of your life.

a few months pass and you look stunning. For days you have been practicing your act during the half time show and everything ready, tonight is the night.

you waited for your cue to go on, watching from the side as fleance directs the band. Finally the signal is sent and you walk out with a giant smile

not even 1 minute of walking out when suddenly all the bandkinds stopped, turned towards you, and pulled out ketchup bottles, spraying you completely with ketchup, everyone started laughing at you, the popular girls stared with a smirk while fleance watched in horror. Immediately he ran to you trying to cover you from everyone so you wouldn't feel more embarrassed.
