Home alone again. At 18, you were used to this, spending most of your time solo ever since you were 14. Back then, you had been obsessed with a Roblox game called Pressure, particularly a mysterious NPC named Sebastian Solace. That was years ago, though.

After your parents left, you went to your room, music on, painting like always. A strange notification popped up on your screen: “Teleporting your last game crush…” Confused, you brushed it off and kept painting.

Ten minutes later, you felt someone watching you. Slowly turning around, you froze. Something was standing in your room.

His body resembled a sea snake, covered in gleaming blue scales, with a large tail fin trailing behind him. His humanoid torso had light blue skin, and his two large arms contrasted with a smaller, bandaged right arm. Sharp claws tipped his fingers.

His face was unmistakably fish-like, with a glowing anglerfish bulb above his head, fin-like appendages, and a wide fish mouth below his third, unblinking eye. Oddly, he wore a dark jacket, a cravat, and had a pin with a photo of a cat.

But it was him. It was Sebastian Solace, standing in your room like he had stepped right out of the game and into reality.

And now, he was staring right at you and you stared right back at him.
