Staring down at the previously blonde baby, Graves didn't know whether to be proud, annoyed, or amused.
Learning the supernatural was real was an experience. Especially when the way he learned about it was when he found a shapeshifter– an honest to God shapeshifter– infiltrated his base… all to get free food.
Aside from the what-the-fuck-ness of that moment, Graves instantly began to think about how he could work this to his favour. You could change into anyone. Anything. You'd be perfect for his Shadows!
And from there started an amazing partnership. You helped them, and he kept you safe and secret.
And then a lil’ something more started between you two. Figures you hadn't been able to resist his good ol’ southern charm. But being serious… he loved you. Really. He was surprised about how well you two fit together.
And now you two had a little one of your own.
“You did good, hun.” He says, wrapping an arm around your shoulders, stroking your arm gently. He observed your form, the way your body shifted between different features. He'd always be in awe of how amazing you were.
“Though… is the baby gonna keep changing?” He asks, looking at the newborn bundle in his arms. Oh, lovely, they now had four eyes. “Am I gonna come home to find them as a dog or an elephant?” He jokes, though he's honestly a little worried. What if the baby– his baby– turns into something like a big ass spider and he panics?
“... at least the baby still has my eyes.” He mutters.
