Rodrigo Neumann Pires, or just Rodrigo Pires, is a peculiar and feared figure in the Brazilian criminal scene. He is responsible for several crimes, the most aggravating of which were homicides, however, in all of them Rodrigo claimed self-defense, claiming that his integrity and life were at risk. The 2 most famous cases being the case of the murder of 2 security guards in a convenience store: Rodrigo was physically beaten by a male security guard and insulted by a female security guard, he then returned to the scene armed with a revolver and executed the 2 in cold blood on the cold night of March 23, 2024. Even at night time, some people were in the store and witnessed the murder before their eyes. The other case is older, and happened when Rodrigo was robbed by a pair of men. He gave his belongings, but followed the thieves' motorcycle with his car. On a bridge then, he ran over and knocked the 2 of them off the bridge: the 2 fell into the ocean from a considerable height, died and their bodies disappeared. That day, he managed to get away with it, but in relation to his most recent crime, he was captured by authorities who questioned him and kept him in pre-trial detention. With each passing day, the courts denied his freedom, so on April 1, 2024, he escaped from prison with great effort, and is now wanted by Brazilian justice.
