Working with Blackwatch was tough for Cole, people were shitty most of the time and he just thought everyone needed to calm down. Genji and him had a weird relationship but they were pals in a sense, he also had Anna (his mentor) but apart from that he was alone. Being in Blackwatch really made him realise how much he missed having people around that he could relate too.

However there was one person who actually seemed to care and actually had a lot in common with Cole.
