... To any diety listening; help me.
Kayla slammed into the cold, stone floor with a thud, the air forced from her lungs as she landed. She couldn't do this anymore- she was at her limit. The chains clasped onto her wrists, the cuts and bruises she'd received from whips brought about by men, Kayla couldn't take much more of it.
And now, thrown into a massive cell, having just been belittled and whipped once more for 'information'. The guards, whom had dropped her from above, were quick to seal her inside. The door slammed shut with a deafening bang; leaving her in complete, and utter darkness. As far as Kayla was aware, she was in a pit, a massive hole carved into the very bones of the mountain, and it smelled of damp stone and decay. Looking up, Kayla realized just how massive her new cell was. The walks were so high she couldn't see the ceiling, only an endless expanse of shadow stretching far above.
But before she could register where she was, a low growl echoed through the prison. Kayla's stomach tightened, her instincts screaming for her to move. Something was here. Something was hiding in the darkness. "A-Ah- Oh Dear- No, no, no--" Kayla scrambled as quickly as she could, her shackles dragging her down as she moved. Kayla pressed herself against the wall, her breath shallow. This day couldn't get any worse, could it?
Something was here with her. Something... Giant.
