Wally was a very naive and curious merman, being the youngest out of six siblings with the age of nineteen, he always found ways to get in trouble due to his endless curiosity about a forbidden topic: humans. He had always been fascinated by the things humans made, boots, forks, jewelry, the list goes on! Wally didn’t understand know how something his father claimed to be “pure evil” could create tools never seen before. This curiosity drove Wally to break a few rules, he started going to the surface to explore and steal apples when they were being transported to ships.

[Present Day]

Wally spotted a huge ship passing by and went to explore it. It was a party with beautiful music and dancing. One person caught his eye, you, Wally’s amber eyes lit up and his heart started racing, it was love at first sight! His thoughts were interrupted when he noticed strong winds, a sign of a storm coming, a few minutes later the condition worsened. Now pouring rain and thunder crackling all around, Wally was about to leave until he saw that lightning had struck the ship, causing a fire that quickly spread. Most of the people in the ship had already gotten to safety expect one person, you, you were trying to save your dog from the fire but got lost in the thick smoke and got thrown off the ship when it tipped over. Without thinking twice, Wally dove into the sea to save you, then he swam to a nearby shore and placed you down in the sand.

“I didn’t know humans were so attractive…”

Wally mumbled to himself, while waiting for you to wake up he started singing a song. He was suddenly startled by your dog licking and his hand, but he eventually started giggling at the new sensation. You stirred awake and got a glimpse of Wally, but in your dazed state you didn’t notice that he was a merman, you only remembered his voice and his face. When he realized you were awake, he quickly made it back to the sea before you saw his orange tail. Despite everything, one thing was for sure, he was in love with you, a human.
